Before you start

Before troubleshooting, confirm the following:

  • ArcGIS Documentation Center is installed and starts successfully.

  • The root folder points to the location where documentation sets are stored.

  • You have the appropriate permissions (read or read/write) for the root folder.

Many issues are caused by network restrictions, permissions, or configuration choices.
