View data in tables
If you’ve added a feature dataset to ArcGIS Maps for Fabric, it likely contains an attribute table that stores the data for the layer. Feature datasets are composed of points, lines, or polygon features. Each table contains rows (features or records) and columns (fields).
You can display an interactive table at the bottom of a map to see information about the features or records in a layer. Seeing a tabular view of the data can be a quick way to analyze information and start making decisions. You can sort and filter the attribute data and hide fields to focus on a specific subset of your data.
You can also access information about each field in the table to understand what the data represents, and get more information about the layer.
Note:
To access ArcGIS Maps for Fabric, you must have a supported ArcGIS organizational account. By signing in with your ArcGIS organizational account, you can access your ArcGIS Online content as well as your organization's content, basemaps, and ArcGIS Living Atlas layers. You cannot access ArcGIS Maps for Fabric with an ArcGIS Public account.
Show a table
Showing tables in ArcGIS Maps for Fabric can be a useful way to see the information associated with the layers in a map. Once you determine what type of data is stored with the features or rasters, you can set up a more focused display of the layer by applying filters if the layer contains data that isn't important to your audience.
Follow these steps to show a table for a feature or image collection-based imagery layer in ArcGIS Maps for Fabric:
In ArcGIS Maps for Fabric, open the map containing the layer, or add the layer directly.
In the Layers
pane, click Options
next to the layer and click Show table
.The layer's table opens at the bottom of the map.
Click the up arrows in the table header to show more rows, or click the down arrows to show fewer rows.
Do any of the following in the table header to manage the table view:
