Supported Autodesk Civil 3D data

Direct-read support of AutoCAD Civil 3D objects extends the support of standard AutoCAD DWG files. Additional CAD feature classes are generated from AutoCAD Civil 3D objects included in the drawing file. Many of these feature classes, when added to a map or scene, are rendered with enhanced symbology to mimic their symbology in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Each resulting feature from these AutoCAD Civil 3D objects includes design data properties that are included as feature attributes. These feature attributes include AutoCAD graphic properties, various AEC entity properties, and user-defined property sets.

Note:

Surface points are not automatically loaded when the entire drawing is added to a map. To add the surface points to a map or scene, you can select and add it as an individual feature class from the CAD dataset.
