Label in 3D

You can label layers in the 3D Layers category in scenes. Labels are placed using a subset of properties from either the Maplex Label Engine or the Standard Label Engine. The labels are placed in 3D space near their feature and may be visually occluded by surfaces or other 3D content.

Note:

Labels for layers in the 2D Layers category of a scene are not supported.

Available labeling parameters include positioning for points and lines features.

Standard Label Engine:

Maplex Label Engine:

Caution:

Each feature can have no more than one label. The feature layer can have multiple label classes with SQL WHERE clauses to label features within the same layer differently.
