View job location

ArcGIS Workflow Manager allows you to identify where work needs to be performed for a job using the Define Location step. Your organization can use job locations to streamline work. The following are some examples:

  • Visualize a job's status on a map

  • Use the job's location as an input for a tool, model, or script

  • Zoom to a job's location when a map is opened

  • Share a job's location with web or mobile apps

Knowing a job's location while working on it in ArcGIS Pro can help understand the task's spatial scope. Complete the following steps to review a job's location:

  1. In the Workflow pane, click View Job Details for the job you want to view the location of.

The job's properties appear in the Workflow pane.

  2. In the Workflow pane, click the Location tab .

    Note:

If you don’t have sufficient privileges, the Location tab is not available in the Workflow pane.

    Tip:

The Location tab uses the default basemap specified in the map and scene options.
