Create Target Group (Business Analyst Tools)

Summary

Creates a new target group. A target group is a container for targets that you create, name, and populate with segments from a locally installed Business Analyst dataset.

Usage

  • The output Target Group parameter value will contain one or more targets.

  • The Targets parameter value is a collection of segments.

  • Segment IDs are separated by semicolons when more than one is assigned to a target, for example, 1C; 3A; 9B.

  • A target's color is defined by a hexadecimal value. For example, the hex color code for the RGB value of rgb(66, 135, 245) is #4287f5. If a hex code is not provided, the default color scheme will be applied.

  • The output of this tool is a new target group (*.sgtargetgroup).
