Generate Target Layer (Business Analyst Tools)

Summary

Creates a layer that identifies geographies that contain selected segments and geographies that do not contain selected segments.

Usage

If the Boundary Layer parameter is not specified, the Extent environment will be used.
Targets are a subclassification of a Target Group parameter value, for example, Core and Development targets. A target can contain one or more segments.

Geography Level	The geography level that will be used to define the target layer.	String
Segmentation Base	The segmentation base for the profile being created. The available options are provided by the segmentation dataset in use.	String
Output Feature Class	The output feature class for the target layer.	Feature Class
Target Input Type	Specifies the target input type. Use Target Group—A target group will be used as the input type. Select Segments—Segments will be used as the input type. One or more segments can compose a target.	String
Target Group (Optional)	The target group, if the dataset supports target groups.	File
Target (Optional)	A target from the Target Group parameter value.	String
Segments (Optional)	The segments from the provided dataset.	String
Boundary Layer (Optional)	The boundary that will determine the layer extent.	Feature Layer
