010039: Unable to delete file <value>.

Description

There was a problem deleting the specified file. If the file is being accessed by an ArcMap or ArcCatalog session or another application, it may have a file lock placed on it and thus cannot be deleted.

Solution

• Check that the specified file does exist at the location identified.

• Make sure that the file is not being accessed by another application.

• Check that you have permission to remove the file.
