Description

This warning is reported when the Basin or Sink tool is run with certain analysis environments enabled, including Cell Size, Snap Raster, or Output Coordinate System.

These environments may require resampling of the input D8 flow direction raster, for example when projecting between geographic and projected coordinate systems. To ensure consistent and correct results under these conditions, the tool runs the analysis using the CPU, even if the Target device for analysis parameter is set to use the GPU.

Solution

To support the specified analysis environment, the tool performed the calculations using only the CPU. This is not a failure.
