180672: Could not populate LEVEL_ID for all <value> features.

Description

Values could not be populated for the LEVEL_ID field of the Pathways or Pathways feature classes for all pathway features due to any or all of the following:

  • Feature classes are participating in an existing built network that cannot be edited by the tool.

  • Values for the FACILITY_ID and LEVEL_NAME_FROM fields in pathway features do not correspond to the attribute values in the Facilities and Levels layers in the Indoors dataset.

  • The Pathways or Pathways layers contain outdoor pathway features, which will not be assigned a LEVEL_ID value.

Solution

Try the following:

  • Run the Upgrade Indoors Database tool to populate LEVEL_ID values the next time you update the indoor network before rebuilding the network.

  • Review the FACILITY_ID and LEVEL_NAME_FROM fields in pathway features to ensure that values match for proper LEVEL_ID value assignment.

  • Do nothing—The error may be caused by outside pathways that are not assigned a level ID. Outside pathways are pathway features that are not within a facility feature.
