Description

The Calculate Transit Service Frequency tool is used to model access to the public transit system and the frequency of public transit service available. It is not intended to model travel by public transit. When using the tool to analyze the frequency of public transit service at points of interest or in areas, do not use a travel mode that allows travel by public transit to determine which transit stops are accessible to the points of interest or the areas. A travel mode that models walking is recommended, although a travel mode modeling bicycling or driving may also be appropriate.
