Location and elevation units

Display units are shown in the coordinate system display at the bottom of the globe view. These values represent real-world coordinates that correspond to the pointer's location on the globe. You can configure display units on the Globe tab.

Location and elevation units are set using their respective menus. Unit options allow you to specify which units of measurement are available for the current project.

Location units

Location units are the coordinate units available to the project. These units are listed in the Display Units group on the Globe tab.

To change the location unit, click the Location drop-down menu, and choose from the list of available units.

Elevation units

Elevations units are vertical distance units available to the project. These units are listed in the Display Units group on the Globe tab.

To change the elevation unit, click the Elevation drop-down menu, and choose from the list of available units.
