Process a reconstruction
Once you create a reconstruction, you can submit it to a workspace for processing. Additionally, you can use your workstation and other workstations to contribute to the processing of the workspace.
Submit a reconstruction for processing
To process a reconstruction, complete the following steps:
In the Project Tree pane, choose the reconstruction to process.
On the Reconstruction tab, click Submit
to submit the reconstruction to the workspace.The Workspace Monitor opens automatically.
In the Workspace Monitor pane, click Start Contribution to start contributing to the workspace.
Note:
If you previously contributed to the workspace and did not click Stop Contribution, processing will begin automatically.

The ArcGIS Reality Studio Node terminal window appears, showing the background process. This terminal must remain open while processing is ongoing.
View the results
To view the generated reconstruction products after processing is finished, complete the following steps:
In the Project Tree pane, click the Visualization tab
.In the Reconstructions section, hover over the products you want to visualize and click Toggle visibility
to turn the visualization on.Note:
To visualize a point cloud, you must first create its visualization layer by clicking Create layer.
Note:
When visualizing Gaussian splats products, some parts may be hidden by the terrain. You can change the display height by setting a cartographic offset. On the Visualization tab of the Project Tree pane, right-click the Gaussian splats product and select Set Display Height. On the dialog box that opens, enter the offset and click OK.
The generated products are shown in the Globe view.
Open the results folder
To open the folder containing the generated reconstruction products after processing is finished, complete the following steps:
In the Project Tree pane, click the reconstruction.
On the Reconstruction tab, click Open Results Folder
.
The folder containing the generated reconstruction products opens in File Explorer.
The reconstruction results are divided into folders for each product type.
