Modify custom portal roles

Available with Workflow Manager license.

Organizations that use custom roles to define privileges can enable privileges for the role to allow members to complete specific tasks, such as creating a workflow item or retrieving the email addresses of other organization members.

To allow members to create workflow items, assign the following privileges:

General privileges	Type
Members	View
Groups	Create, update, and delete View groups shared with organization
Content	Create, update, and delete Publish hosted feature layers View content shared with organization Create workflow item
Sharing	Share with groups Make groups visible to organization

To allow members to retrieve email addresses of other organization members with an ArcGIS Arcade expression, assign the following privilege:
