Use auto link control
ArcGIS Drone2Map can automate the process of detecting and linking control point markers for a project. This process uses deep learning libraries and models to search for associated control point markers in images and automatically detect and link control points during the adjustment process.
Note:
If your hardware does not meeting the requirements for the deep learning installation then you can still use the estimate links functionality when linking GCPs. The process will require more manual linking and wont be assisted by the deep learning models.
To set the auto link control options, complete the following steps:
In an open project, click the Home tab.
In the Processing group, click the Options button.
The Options window appears.
Click the Adjust Images tab, and scroll to the Auto Link Control section.
Note:
Auto link control requires Deep Learning Libraries for ArcGIS Drone2Map to be installed. See Optional installation packages for more information.
Check the Auto Link Control check box to activate the feature and options.
Once it's checked, select Auto Link or Auto Link and Adjust from the Auto Link Control drop-down list.
Set the Cropped Image Size value or keep the default of 1500.
Set the Max Links value or keep the default of 7.
Controls must have a minimum of two links, with three to eight links recommended for best results.
Optionally, check the Use Highest Score check box.
This option uses the highest score from the deep learning model to estimate the links in other images.
After the auto link control options have been enabled and configured, the next processing attempt will run the auto link control process and link any control points that it detects. Links can then be reviewed in the Image Links Editor window.
Note:
If errors occur when auto linking control, confirm that the image altitudes are accurate.
