A performance profile defines the default CPU and memory requests and limits specified for services. When you create your organization, choose a performance profile to help you meet your service level objectives by matching resource availability to workload demands. Regardless of the performance profile you select when the organization is created, you can later adjust the requests and limits for services and system deployments.
There are two available performance profiles:
Standard performance is designed for services with steady traffic and defined performance targets. This profile specifies moderate CPU and memory requests to deliver consistent, reliable behavior.
Enhanced performance is designed for high‑throughput or latency‑sensitive workloads with strict service level agreements. This profile specifies higher CPU and memory requests and limits to maximize responsiveness and stability.
The requests and limits specified for the main-container of each pod replica are described in the tables belows. The choice of performance profile affects requests, but limits are the same across profiles. Pods marked with an asterisk (*) are not running by default.

GIS service templates
GIS service templates define default values for GIS services that are published after the initial organization configuration. You can change the default requests and limits for these templates using the Admin API. See Edit (Deployment) for more information.
