Delete a server directory in Server Manager

You can use ArcGIS Server Manager to delete a server directory. To do so, follow the steps below.

Note:

Before deleting a server cache directory, you must ensure that any service using the directory is edited to use a different cache directory.

Optionally, you can also choose to delete the cache of the map or image service using the DeleteMapServerCache **** geoprocessing tool. This will set the service to render dynamically using the data from the data source.

  1. Open ArcGIS Server Manager and sign in.

  2. Click Site > Server Configuration > Directories.

  3. Locate the server directory you want to configure and click Delete .

    The Delete Directory dialog box appears.

  4. Click Delete to delete the server directory.
