The following are the primary steps to get ArcGIS Monitor installed and running:

1. Verify that your site meets the system requirements.

2. Plan your Monitor deployment.

3. Modify your firewall to allow communication on the ports used by Monitor.

4. Install ArcGIS Monitor Server.

5. Set up after installation.

6. Install ArcGIS Monitor Agent.

7. Register Monitor Agent with Monitor Server.
