00217: Multipatch layer cannot be published to current portal

You are sharing a web scene that contains a multipatch layer. To publish multipatch layers, your portal must be configured with ArcGIS Data Store.

Multipatch layers cannot be published to Portal for ArcGIS with a geodatabase configured as the ArcGIS Server managed database.

Solutions

Do one of the following:

• Contact your administrator to ensure that your portal is configured with the following ArcGIS Data Store types:

  • Tile cache data store when sharing to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5 through 11.3

  • Object store when sharing to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 or later

• Remove the multipatch layer from the scene.
