SetRotation Method (Element)

Sets the rotation value for the element. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

rotation: Double

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.
System.InvalidOperationException	This element requires its mapview to be active

Remarks

Positive values rotate the element counter-clockwise, negative values rotate the element clockwise.
Placement for an element contained in graphics layer requires the mapview be active.

Target Platforms: Windows 11 Home, Pro, Enterprise (64 bit)

ArcGIS Pro version: 3.0 or higher.
