GetSubtypeField Method

Gets the name of the field used to define subtypes. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

Public Function GetSubtypeField() As String

public string GetSubtypeField()

The name of the field used to define subtypes.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.NotSupportedException	The definition does not support this operation (e.g., the table is a shapefile).
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11 Home, Pro, Enterprise (64 bit)

ArcGIS Pro version: 3.0 or higher.
