Export Network Travel Modes (Network Analyst Tools)

Summary

Exports a network dataset's travel modes to a .json file.

Usage

This tool is typically used together with the Replace Network Travel Modes tool to transfer travel modes from one version of a network dataset to another. For example, if you have customized the travel modes in a StreetMap Premium network dataset and want to transfer them to an updated Streetmap Premium data version, use this tool to save the original network's travel modes to a file. Update to the latest Streetmap Premium data version, and use the Replace Network Travel Modes tool to apply your customized travel modes to the new network.
The output .json file contains a JSON object whose keys are the names of the network's travel modes and whose values are JSON objects representing the travel mode properties.
The network dataset's default travel mode is the first travel mode in the output .json file.
