Replace Network Travel Modes (Network Analyst Tools)

Summary

Replaces a network dataset's travel modes with travel modes defined in a .json file.

Usage

  • This tool is typically used together with the Export Network Travel Modes tool to transfer travel modes from one version of a network dataset to another. For example, if you have customized the travel modes in a StreetMap Premium network dataset and want to transfer them to an updated Streetmap Premium data version, use the Export Network Travel Modes tool to save the original network's travel modes to a file. Update to the latest Streetmap Premium data version, then use this tool to apply your customized travel modes to the new network.

  • The input .json file must contain a JSON object whose keys are the names of the network's travel modes and whose values are JSON objects representing the travel mode properties.
