000072: Cannot process feature with OID <value>.

Description

This error will occur in one of the following cases:

  • The geometry of the identified feature may be invalid or may be corrupted.

  • The identified record may contain a null or invalid value in a required field. The output for that record is skipped.

Solution

For the first case, run the Repair Geometry tool on the dataset containing the feature; the tool will correct invalid geometry whenever possible.

For the second case, review the skipped record in the input and make sure all required fields have valid values; then run the tool again.
