Description

One or more field names contain an invalid character, such as a space or a leading number.

For the Create Locator tool, an invalid field name was entered for the field_mapping, alternate_field_mapping, or custom_output_fields parameter, for one of the following field names:

• Locator role field name

• Primary data field name

• Locator role alternate field name

• Alternate data table field name

For the Create Feature Locator tool, an invalid field name was entered for the search_fields, locator_fields, or custom_output_fields parameter, for one of the following field names:

• Locator field name

• Data field name

• Additional locator field name

• Additional data field name

Solution

Review the locator role and data field names in the script and use only alphanumeric and underscore characters, and avoid leading numbers, for the field names.
