180605: Source CAD Data spatial references do not match.
Description
Two or more different spatial references were detected in the input CAD data files. All inputs must have the same spatial reference to maintain data integrity.
Solution
Review the projected coordinate system and geographic coordinate system for each CAD file and try the following:
If one or more CAD files have an unknown coordinate system do the following:
Use the Define Projection tool to assign a coordinate system to the CAD file. The tool creates a
.prjfile in the same folder as the selected CAD file.Rename the created
.prjfileESRI_CAD.prj. ArcGIS Pro will use this file as the spatial reference for any CAD files in this folder with unknown coordinate systems.
If one or more CAD files have coordinate systems that do not match, do one of the following:
If the CAD files have associated
.prjfiles, check for.prjfiles that don't match and replace them to match other.prjfiles in the folder containing the CAD files. If the CAD files have coordinate systems but no associated
.prjfiles orESRI_CAD.prjfile, the coordinate system information is stored in the CAD file. In this case, use ArcGIS for AutoCAD to update the coordinate systems of the CAD files to match.
Note:
After updating the spatial reference of a CAD file, you may need to georeference the CAD data again.
