Manage geodata services
From the item page of a geocode service, you can start or stop the service, configure supported geodata capabilities, and enable or disable WCS (Web Coverage Service).
Note:
If your service is published on a federated server secured with web-tier authentication (such as Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA), lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP), or client-certificate authentication), you cannot configure service and layer settings through the portal. In such cases, you must use ArcGIS Server Manager on the federated server to manage service and layer settings.
Start and stop services
Starting and stopping services are common actions you may need to perform when administering geodata services.

Click the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Geodata service section and enable or disable the following capabilities:

Extraction—Controls whether data can be extracted from the geodata service.
Replication—Controls whether geodatabase replication operations are supported by the service.
Click Save, then click Save and restart to apply your changes.
Enable WCS
You can enable WCS for a geodata service from the item page. When WCS is enabled, a corresponding WCS item is created in the portal.
To enable WCS, complete the following steps:
Sign in to the organization as the item owner with the privilege to publish server-based layers or as an administrator.
Open the item page for the geodata service and click the Settings tab.
Scroll to the WCS section.
Turn on the Configuration toggle button.
Click Save, then click Save and restart.
After the service restarts, a WCS item is created.
To disable WCS, turn off the Configuration toggle button. Disabling WCS deletes the WCS item that was created.
To configure WCS properties, see Set WCS properties.
