Alter Method (Version)

Changes this version's name, description and access permissions. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

versionDescription: The VersionDescription that specifies what information needs to be altered in this version.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	versionDescription is null.
System.ArgumentException	The VersionDescription.Name value in versionDescription is null or an empty string.
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException	The VersionDescription.AccessType value in versionDescription is invalid.
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run
