Boundary rules followed when converting features to a raster
The image below illustrates the rules that apply when a feature falls exactly on a cell boundary:
If a feature falls on a cell boundary, use the cell above it; if there is no cell above it, remain in the cell below.
If there is a cell to the left, use it; if there is no cell to the left, remain in the cell on the right.
