Share Indoor Positioning Data Service (Indoor Positioning Tools)

Summary

Publishes an Indoor Positioning Data Service to ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online. An Indoor Positioning Data Service contains the data required for enabling indoor positioning. It is used by the IndoorsLocationDataSource objects of the ArcGIS Maps SDKs to compute an estimated position.

Usage

The IPS Positioning Datasets parameter value is a polygon feature class created by the Create IPS Data Model tool.
The IPS Dataset Name parameter value can be selected from the available names of the datasets in the IPS Positioning Datasets parameter value. The dataset names are stored as feature attributes in the IPS Positioning Datasets parameter value.
The Sharing Level parameter is based on user permissions. The available options are Owner, Organization, and Everyone (public) .
To update an existing Indoor Positioning Data Service on the portal, check the Update an Existing Indoor Positioning Data Service parameter.
- If an existing Indoor Positioning Data Service is part of an offline map area, the service cannot be updated. Share a new Indoor Positioning Data Service instead.
Note:

The Title parameter value must match the name of an existing Indoor Positioning Data Service on the signed-in portal that the current user has permissions to update. When updating an existing Indoor Positioning Data Service, the following parameters are hidden:
- Folder
- Sharing Level
- Group Sharing

Group Sharing (Optional)	The groups with which the Indoor Positioning Data Service will be shared. You can select multiple values from the groups to which you belong.	String
Update an Existing Indoor Positioning Data Service (Optional)	Specifies whether an existing Indoor Positioning Data Service will be overwritten. Checked—An existing Indoor Positioning Data Service will be overwritten. Unchecked—An existing Indoor Positioning Data Service will not be overwritten, and a new service will be shared.
