Description

The trace requires at least one specified starting point.

Starting points can be specified using the Trace pane or, if run as part of a script, using the Add Trace Locations tool.

Review the trace type used to check the requirements.

Solution

Ensure that a valid starting point is used for the trace.

  • Use the Trace pane or Add Trace Locations tool.

  • Ensure that the feature on which the starting point is placed is reflected in the network topology. This can be done by validating the network topology.
