Alignment in ArcGIS Reality Studio

In reality mapping, the accuracy of the imagery orientation helps determine the quality of the imagery-derived mapping products.

The alignment process in ArcGIS Reality Studio improves the initial orientation data.

You can do the following using the alignment workflow:

• Measure control points to georeference the data and verify the quality of the alignment.

• Assess the quality of the alignment by reviewing the resulting statistics.

• Symbolize the components to gain insight into the alignment based on various statistical attributes.

• Refine an alignment to improve the quality of those results.

• Export the alignment results or use them to reconstruct the captured scene.
