What's new in ArcGIS AllSource 1.6
New Home page experience reorganizes how your recent projects, new project templates, solution templates, help and settings are accessed when ArcGIS AllSource starts. The Home tab includes new starting templates for the new Observation Workbench and creating an ArcGIS Knowledge investigation.
Start projects from ArcGIS Solution templates right from the Home page. AllSource 1.6 adds two solutions onto the Home page to give you a starting point for creating Military Ground Mobility maps and HLZ Suitability studies.
Observation Workbench is a new feature that takes imagery and sets up an environment for observation collection. It takes your imagery, co-located elevation, observation features, and combines several processes to create a new view for object-based or activity-based collection.
When installing ArcGIS AllSource you now have an option to DISABLE_EXTERNAL_TRAFFIC that stops ArcGIS AllSource from sending requests to
arcgis.comandarcgisonline.com. Use this option for installations where end users do not have access to the open internet, or are working in disconnected environments.ArcGIS Documentation Center is the new offline help system for Esri desktop products, including ArcGIS AllSource. It is installed separately from AllSource and replaces the older installed help viewer. With Doc Center you can download and manage documentation sets (packages of application-specific help content) for Esri products. Administrators can deploy the Doc Center application to client systems and centralize their organization's help content from one location. The change to Doc Center necessitates a change in AllSource help content which is now shared with ArcGIS Pro help content.
