An overview of the Suitability Analysis toolset

Available with Business Analyst license.

The Suitability Analysis toolset contains a set of tools that allow you to identify the most suitable sites from a set of candidates, as defined by applying a set of individually weighted criteria.

Tool	Description
Add Field Based Suitability Criteria	Adds criteria based on the numerical fields existing in the input layer.
Add Point Layer Based Suitability Criteria	Adds criteria based on spatial relationships between the input layer and a specified point layer.
Add Variable Based Suitability Criteria	Adds criteria based on the values calculated for the input layer using the Enrich Layer tool.
Calculate Suitability Score	Calculates or recalculates a suitability score.
Make Suitability Analysis Layer	Creates a Suitability Analysis group layer for an input site's polygonal layer.
Remove Suitability Criteria	Removes criteria from a suitability analysis layer.
Set Criteria Properties	Defines parameters for criteria.
Set Target Site	Adds a target site to a Suitability Analysis group layer.
