Legacy:

Starting with ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0, ArcGIS Defense Mapping and ArcGIS Production Mapping are consolidated into ArcGIS Topographic Mapping. Visit Defense Mapping or Production Mapping if you are using a prior version.

The Topographic Mapping server extension debuts with the following enhancements to the former extensions:

• Topographic production workflows for data collection, data editing, and quality control built using service-based ArcGIS Workflow Manager.

• Alongside the workflows, the Topographic Production Manager (TPM) web app replaces the earlier Production Manager application that was used with the now-deprecated Workflow Manager (Classic) workflows.

• Updates to the rule files and map templates included with the product files have been made that are in line with industry specifications for the following data model schemas and map products:

  • Topographic Data Store (TDS)

  • Multinational Geospatial Co-Production Program (MGCP)

  • Joint Operations Graphic (JOG)

  • Evasion Chart (EVC)

  • Tactical Pilotage Chart (TPC)

  • Operational Navigation Chart (ONC)
