Open a documentation set
After you download a documentation set, use this workflow to open it and view its contents.
Steps
Open ArcGIS Documentation Center.
Click the Home tab.
Find the card for the documentation set you want to open.
If you have downloaded multiple documentation sets, you can use the filters to narrow down the list. You can filter by product name, product version, and language.
Click the Open button on the card.
The documentation set opens in your web browser.
You can browse the documentation set in your web browser like you would online help. However, since the documentation set is stored locally, in your root folder, you can access it even when you are not connected to the Internet.
If your root folder is on a shared network drive, you will need to be connected to the network to access the documentation set. If you will disconnect from that network, you can export and import the documentation set to have it stored locally on your machine.
