Add Color Set (Utility Network Tools)

Summary

Adds a color set to define the colors that may be reused across color schemes in a telecom domain network. Color sets provide a standardized color library which can be consumed by color schemes in your network using the Add Color Scheme tool.

Usage

  • The Input Utility Network parameter value must reference a utility network version 8 or later.

  • The utility network dataset provided for the Input Utility Network parameter must include a telecom domain network.

  • The Color Set Name parameter value must be unique in the domain network and may not exceed 256 characters.

  • The Color Codes parameter's Name and Label property values may not exceed 256 characters.

  • The Color Codes parameter's HexCode property value must contain a 6-digit hex triplet, for example FF0000. Multiple hex codes can be provided using a comma delimited list.

Input Utility Network

The input utility network where the color set will be added.

Domain Network

The telecom domain network where the color set will be added.

Color Set Name

The name of the color set that will be added. The name must be unique in the utility network.

Color Codes

Properties that describe the attributes for each color code in the color set.

Value table columns:

  • NameThe name for the color code. This is used to describe the color set for use in a color scheme.

  • LabelThe label used to display the color code in a color scheme.

  • HexCodeThe six digit alphanumeric hex color code used to defined the color code in the set, for example, FF0000. Multiple hex codes can be provided using a comma delimited list.
